Lancashire To Lahore:
This project investigates the idea of visual communication through the exchange of
postcards or miniature artworks in respect of a specific time and place. The process
encourages different cultures to exchange personal interpretations of a place they are familiar with.
The call-out for participants engaged professional artists, students and members of local
community groups. Their work, which was exhibited in Pakistan and the UK, forms an ongoing archive of
creative imagery.
The archive was exhibited in the following venues in 2010:
1. Bradley Community Fun Day in Nelson, Lancashire.

2. The Centre for Contemporary Arts, UCLan, Preston.

and 3. The Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, Pakistan.
